Current vacancies:

The Orchestra is always interested to hear from good string players. You should preferably be of grade 8 standard or above and have some experience already of playing with amateur orchestras.

Auditions are informal and comprise simply of taking part in a rehearsal. In this way, you are able to decide if you want to join us and we can hear your playing without placing any pressure upon you.

Even if we have no current vacancies please do not hesitate to submit the application form attached. We maintain a database of players and contacts on whom we can call if additional resources are required or to cover holiday absence or sickness. We will keep your details on the database and contact you as necessary or appropriate.
